Boost Your Online Gaming Experience
I've been experiencing really bad lag or delay while playing online against some FIFA Leagues members, for this reason i have decided to create this guide. Routers and modems can sometimes slow the downloading speeds for PS3 game consoles if the proper ports are not open. To speed up the download speed and increase connectivity, wireless settings will need to be corrected. Each router has a specific way to log into its settings guide, but often can be accessed by typing in the IP address on the router or in its manual.
Some of you may not that know this but if you are downloading anything on your computer while you are playing FIFA online on your PS3, XBOX or PC this will effect your online performance.
1. Do not play online while downloading.
2. Turn off all firewalls.
3. Disable ZoneAlarm, McAfee, Northon or Symantec.
4. Open online ports or DMZ your connection.
5. If you are in a network do not play while others are online.
6. Connect your PS3, XBOX or PC wired not wireless if you can.
7. Connect your PS3, XBOX or PC directly to your modem.
If you are interested in opening your online ports to play FIFA Soccer 09 online then simply go to PortForwading.com then select your router or modem model then look for FIFA Soccer 09 and you will be given a tutorial on how to open your online ports.
