Are you King of the Hill? KOTH Award Explained
Some of you may wonder about the KOTH award icon, well KOTH is short for King of the Hill (meaning you are wearing the ladder crown). There are two ways to receive the KOTH award, when you play an opponent that is the current KOTH and win then the award become yours or when the KOTH expires from current holder it then chooses a random active user making them to KOTH player.
There are great advantages when you are a KOTH player, every time you win a ladder match you receive +5 bonus points toward your ladder ratings which makes the match more meaningful also other members of the ladder want to play you more giving them a chance to dethrone you.
Keep in mind that if the KOTH randomly selects you will have it for less then 1 month so you must play many matches and win in order to get those extra points.

You can find that out by viewing the players awards or on the main page of the website where it says "Quick Stats"
