First WCG Qualifier winner 4K^Kesar Interviewed!
Today we got an Interview with the Serbian star Igor “Kesar_LLLL” Kesar. He is playing for 4Kings and is since 2 years playing FIFA Online. Last year he was very unlucky losing the final of the WCG Qualifier but this year he was too strong for them all and he won. He is the first FIFA Player that qualified for the big finals in China. [FifaLeagues] Igor, please introduce yourself to our readers real quick.
[4K^Kesar] Hello, My name is Igor Kesar, better known as Kesar_LLLL. I am 18 years old, living in the capital of Serbia (Belgrade). I am playing FIFA since 2008 so as far I play I don’t have that big list of achievements!
[FifaLeagues] Congratulations with the WCG Ticket, could you tell us more about the qualifier?
[4K^Kesar] Thanks, the WCG Qualifier was at 30-31 May. There were about 32 players in the first day. It was the qualifier for our city and to be honest I had a very easy group so I managed to win them all very easily. And each group had about 8 players so it wasn’t that hard to qualify for the “Final day”
The final day was not that easy as the first day. But at all I passed the group-phase! Then in the quarter final I had to play vs. an known in the scene; iGn`Rounder. Also this match I won without problems and I was in a good shape . In the finals I played with ReBBa, he did’t practice a lot in 09 but he is a very experienced player so I was really careful this match. That resulted in a 3:2 win for me the first game (with some lock to be honest) And second match I won easily with 7:1.
After this win I realized for the first time in the two days I played that I can win the WCG Qualifier of Serbia this year! 1 step away from the title I had to beat J0k0, one of the strongest opponents. So it was not that easy like day 1, I had to give all I had and after 2 games (2:1 and 5:1) I could celebrate that I won this, but it took 2 days that I realized that I won this so it was party time! I’m very happy with this title but for the moment I’m very inactive because of school and soon I will go to the Sea for holidays and when I get back FIFA is waiting for me and I will train again!
[FifaLeagues] Did you feel the pressure that u had to win this year?
[4K^Kesar] Of course, because I trained a lot to win and I promised my mates that I will see them in China haha. And of course “4Kings” expected it too, so I had to win it.
[FifaLeagues] Would it be easier to win the Ticked without this Pressure?
[4K^Kesar] Not at all, the pressure helped me because I wasn’t relaxing any moment. And I know if I relax my play style goes to a low level! So I was playing all my games with 100%
[FifaLeagues] Are there standard things that you always do before playing important matches or clan wars and in this fact before a WCG Qualification?
[4K^Kesar] I am just using MP3 during the game, and I always listen the same song when I play the match, that makes me very calm!
[FifaLeagues] Will you share that song with us ;-) ?
[4K^Kesar] Sure why not! Maybe you won’t believe it but it’s a German song. I listened it every match during the WCG Qualifier. It’s called Vendette from Bushido featuring Eko Fresh.
[FifaLeagues] Any special reason why that song and could you tell us more about your real-life?
[4K^Kesar] Well, Vendetta means Revenge so I made my revenge in the quarter final vs. Rounder (He beated me last year in the Finals)
At the moment I am Studying to join a University! So I spend a lot of time studying and to my girlfriend named Lana, got a relationship of 6 months now and I’m enjoying!
[FifaLeagues] Why did you start playing FIFA?
[4K^Kesar] I can’t give you a normal answer on this question. I just liked it and I heard of WCG so I purchased it and started playing and found out mIRC and ESL. So it started just for fun but now it’s like a hobby for me because when I have time, I play FIFA!
[FifaLeagues] How much time do you invest into FIFA?
[4K^Kesar] I practiced for the WCG about 5-6 hours a day. But normally I just play 1-2 hours maximal a day!
[FifaLeagues] Alright thanks for the interview, any last shoutouts?
[4K^Kesar] At first I want to thank my former team (diamondZ) because I learned a lot things there. Now 4Kings is my team and I am very happy to play for them. It’s very great here. Of course I want to thank my mates; RyZeeR,J0k0,Marko,ReBBa and of course my brother Dejan! Thanks to FifaUniTed who helped me getting into 4Kings actually. Also thanks to Krasi who gives me always good reasons to stay calm and he helped me winning the qualifier for WCG. Thanks for the interview!
